Dolphin Drilling ASA, together with its subsidiaries, provides exploration and development services to the oil and gas industry in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. It operates in two segments, Offshore Drilling, and Engineering and Fabrication. The Offshore Drilling segment offers services and leases drilling units to the offshore oil and gas industry. The Engineering and Fabrication segment provides engineering, fabrication, shipbuilding, and repair services for various offshore and onshore industries. It owns two deepwater units and three midwater semi-submersible drilling rigs. The company was formerly known as Fred. Olsen Energy ASA and changed its name to Dolphin Drilling ASA in December 2018. Dolphin Drilling ASA was founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
