== Summary == NewOrigin Gold Corp. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in the Canadian Shield, Canada. The company explores for gold, nickel, copper, silver, diamond, and cobalt deposits. It holds 100% interests in the Sky Lake project covering an area of approximately 87.6 square kilometers situated to the southwest of Pickle Lake in northwestern Ontario; the North Abitibi project comprising 196 single cell mining claims and 21 boundary cell mining claims covering an area of approximately 50 square kilometers located to the north of Kirkland Lake, Ontario; and the South Abitibi project that includes 791 single cell mining claims and 36 boundary cell mining claims covering an area of approximately 200 square kilometers situated to the Temagami-Cobalt region of Ontario. The company also holds interest in the Nipissing Cobalt property that consists of 570 single cell mining claims and boundary cell mining claims covering an area of 125 square kilometers located to the west of Cobalt, Ontario; and the Kinebik gold project that consists of 328 mining claims covering an area of approximately 17,750 hectares located within the north-central portion of the Archean Abitibi Sub-province. The company was formerly known as Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. and changed its name to NewOrigin Gold Corp. in April 2021.
