==Idea== <vimeo>415919447</vimeo> The world is changing, rapidly! Obesity, stress, electric gadget/social media obsession, and mental health issues are serious problems facing today’s society. It's no surprise that people are looking for fun things to do to offset these problems. Our vision is to create the UK's most popular, fun and active leisure destination, for all ages. A world where gladiator, ninja warrior & total wipe-out experience collide. The main activities will be based on inflatables to provide a safe experience. Cloud 9 launched as a part-time pop up (weekends & school holidays) in November 2017, in Watford. The temporary venue was not ideal (a large school sports hall, half the size needed, no in-house catering and no ability for on-site marketing). It was a great way to prove the concept and was always a stepping stone to what we aim to launch. Customer response has been positive. 45% full in year 1, 60% in year 2 and 75% over the first 5 months of year 3 prior to lockdown. We are already profitable (FY'19 £229k revenue, £10.7k EBITDA). Funds raised will help launch our 1st permanent Cloud 9 venue in 2020, then roll-out across the UK. We envisage our Cloud 9 venues being much more than just inflatables – i.e. to also appeal to adults, a spectacular interior design, a cool licenced bar and café serving delicious food and drinks, unique private event/party rooms, plus other entertainment activities.
