It also provides online banking, bill payment, and eStatement services; and additional services, such as official and certified checks, account research/balancing, stop payments, wire transfers, and safety deposit boxes. The company was formerly known as The Tiffin Savings Bank and changed its name to First Bank of Ohio in 1987. The company was founded in 1873 and is based in Tiffin, Ohio. First Bank of Ohio is a subsidiary of Tonti Financial Corporation.
