It also provides insulating glass production machines and related spare parts; and handling equipment. In addition, the company offers glass processing machines and related services; and glass products, such as smart glass, as well as services for glass technologies. It serves architectural, appliance, automotive,display, and solar energy industries. The company was formerly known as O/y Kyro A/b and changed its name to Glaston Oyj Abp in June 2007. Glaston Oyj Abp was founded in 1870 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland.
