==Summary== ERTHAβs mission is to revolutionize the surf industry through the production of high performance & sustainable surfboards. ERTHA's model provides scalability through high-tech lean industrial production. Fundraising is to expand its product range & conquer markets through Hawaii, the Mecca of Surfing. * Targetting Sustainability: Refuse, Reduce, Re-use, Recycle production model * Technology: Automated, scalable & lean production * Fashion: Unique, Highly Customizable Works of Art * Knowledge: Team of professionals led by former pro-surfer ==Idea== <vimeo>684603145</vimeo> During a beach clean-up, our Founder Ettore saw a small piece of surfboard along with other waste. It made him think about a problem; 13M boards are produced every year which is the equivalent to an estimated 500k m3 of plastic released in the environment. We estimate that it is 10x Santiago Cathedrals full of broken surfboards. Surfers are generally environmentally conscious but they don't have a real alternative to traditional boards that is both truly sustainable and high-performance. Moved by this vision, he onboarded a team of skilled professionals and they developed 4 innovative technologies to create high-performance Organic/Recycled Eco-surfboards, one being a 100% wooden board in a DIY kit, We aim to develop a low carbon footprint solution for surfing. Key Achievements: * Zack Noyle is coming onboard from Hawaii as an investor. * Co-branding with JAM for Organic trackpad * Letter of intent for a Brand extension with Seat Cupra We are currently designing our 5th construction technology: the Eco-Soft Top surfboard. This new technology is aimed at beginner surfers. The most dynamic and fast-growing surfboard market, which doesnβt offer many sustainable alternatives, as the majority of surfboard manufacturers are still using carcinogenic petroleum-based materials.. With your help we will finalise this new product and turn a share of this market green. ==Team== ERTHA members are moved by the same vision.
