  • Sales to over 100 trade outlets and +15,000 e-commerce orders
  • Great outlets include Canyon Ranch, Alain Ducasse, Fortnum & Mason
  • The alcohol-alternative beverage market expected to grow to $29Bn by 2026.

IdeaEdit

My expertise is deeply rooted in the world of wine. I have never found a premium adult alcohol-free drink whose taste, like fine wine, can enhance all manner of fine dining while retaining low calories and sugar. So I spent two years crafting my organic apple cider vinegar-based Jukes drinks for this growing market sector. They have been well received: with over 15k e-commerce orders and 50+ fine dining listings as they re-open.

Made in London, we sell Jukes in two white, one rosé and two red versions (in several formats) to discerning customers who value their flavour, food-pairing skills and aesthetic. They feature in retail outlets (e.g. Fortnum & Mason) and a wide range of top-end hospitality venues (inc. two Michelin restaurants). Planning to widen our portfolio next year when we aim to launch a broader-market Jukes drink in a can.

We sell via e-commerce and to the trade directly (UK, US) and through distribution partners (EU, Asia) and agents (MidEast). Our sales include over 100 trade outlets and over 15,000 e-commerce orders.

We grow customer awareness through social media, paid print media (Vogue, GQ), expert reviews (FT, Food & Wine) and myself as our founder. These funds will help drive further growth by expanding our sales platforms and brand marketing, especially UK and US. Join us on our journey!

TeamEdit

With over 30 years in the wine business, Matthew Jukes (Founder, CEO Part-Time) writes the wine column in the Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, MoneyWeek’s weekly wine column (15 years), plus four annual, in-depth and comprehensive wine reports. His palate, experience and global relationships lead and significantly advantage Jukes.

Jack Hollihan (Founder, FD Part-Time), experienced company director and former Morgan Stanley (London) partner, manages Jukes’ US business and overall finances. That has included Jukes’ two prior “friends and family” capital raises totalling almost £2M.

Core Team: Maoré Pichot de Champfleury (CMO & COO) joined Jukes at its start from Moët Hennessy (London) and runs our marketing /e-commerce and business operations, supported by Katie Roberts. Henry Hardy (Head of Sales), with fine wine production and sales experience from Lion Fine Wine Partners and Petaluma, is responsible with Matthew for our global trade sales distribution. Melania Borgia (Production Manager) leads our production team in Battersea.

Core Advisors (and Investors): Ed Barber and Jay Osgerby, founders of Barber Osgerby (LVMH, Rimowa, Hermes) are the creative directors of Jukes’ packaging design. Bill Muirhead and Simon Dicketts (former M&C Saatchi seniors) work with Jukes on branding and creative content. Lou Hammond Group runs Jukes’ US PR interface.
