Norske Skogindustrier ASA, through its subsidiaries, manufactures, distributes, and sells publication paper. The company produces and sells newsprint paper for newspapers, inserts, and catalogues; magazine paper for magazines, periodicals, catalogues, and brochures; and book and directory papers under the brand NOR. Norske Skogindustrier ASA was formerly known as Nordenfjelske Treforedling AS and changed its name to Norske Skogindustrier ASA in 1972. The company was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Skøyen, Norway. As of December 19, 2017, Norske Skogindustrier ASA is under reorganization.
