==Idea== <vimeo>524738100</vimeo> In 2015, three former Diageo colleagues and a world-class mixologist pooled years of alcohol industry expertise to create a uniquely Asian rum with a vibrant personality that celebrates island life and is designed to appeal to the modern drinker. Blending exotic cane spirits from the island of Java with carefully selected contemporary rums, Nusa Caña draws on centuries of rum-making history in Indonesia to produce a white rum, a spiced rum and a range of ready-to-drink cocktails that reflect the spirit of Bali, where the brand was conceived. Already available in 14 countries across the globe, we work with specialist distributors in each of our markets with the aim of maximising our reach to target customers, including high profile names such as Coles and Woolworths in Australia, Marriott Group in SE Asia and Amazon & Master of Malt in Europe. In the UK (where the rum market is forecast to be worth £1.2bn by 2025), we have partnered with award-winning distributor Kingsland Drinks and are already seeing demand for our rums. In Europe, we have distributors in place in France, Greece and the Netherlands, and we are negotiating partnerships in several other key rum markets. Nusa Caña has been widely acclaimed by the spirits industry, with both the white and spiced rums receiving gold medals from the 2020 Spirits Business Rum & Cachaça Masters.
