==Summary== Ring Powercraft – Designer and Manufacturer of Sports Boats and RHIBs. British heritage and high performance DNA are leveraged to generate sales in the Leisure, Adventure, Commercial and Military marine sectors. Supported by an experienced management team and robust infrastructure. * An EIS investment with an established British Performance brand * Diverse product range mitigates risk to a single sector * Robust, lean, certified and scalable infrastructure * Blended marketing strategy by Project, Product, Sector and Geography ==Idea== <vimeo>277806070</vimeo> In 2018 Ring Powercraft celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Ring’s brand reputation, track record and diverse product offering, supported by a robust infrastructure and an internal design and naval architecture team, is leveraged to generate sales across the leisure, commercial, adventure and defence sectors. In 2019 Cetus Holdings Limited bought all Ring IP with a detailed strategy for product development and distribution. Leisure and light commercial activities are being developed through new product, brand strength and the creation of a dealer network. Capability has been created to be active in the military/ paramilitary sectors both through direct sales and under major defence prime contractors in tender processes. Smart partnering with established companies is core to our strategy. Successes include military product collaborations with numerous companies (see our site) and the announcement in January 2020 of our partnership with Arksen to create a new range of Adventure Vessels. Military activity is almost entirely tender driven and Ring has passed stringent due diligence processes of major defence primes. Ring is now actively participating in tenders for various MoD, Police Force and UN end users. ==Team== '''David Jackson, Director, CEO''' Following a 25 year career in Investment banking encompassing senior MD positions in sales, trading and structuring platforms in Europe and Asia, David was looking for a new challenge. Whilst boating in Windermere in the late 80s he first became familiar with the Ring brand when watching ski racing on the lake. In 2013 David bought his first Ring boat. He spent 2 years designing the strategy for Cetus Holdings and following a seed funding round opened the new Ring factory in West Sussex in January 2019. David oversees all elements of the operation and is directly responsible for company strategy, finance and distribution. '''Mike Ring, Director, Head of Innovation & Design''' In 1968 Mike launched the Crusader Brand with 15, 16 and 20 foot models and in 1975 Mike launched boats in his own name and developed the Ring Powercraft range. Following Mike’s own personal success in powerboat racing (and sacrifices including a broken neck) Ring boats became synonymous with Powerboat and Waterski Racing across the UK and Europe. Other new design elements included stepped hulls and Catamarans. In 1993 Ring produced their first RHIBs designed to outperform in terms of handling, rough water performance, fuel efficiency and speed. Today, Mike is as driven as ever to design new products to maintain Ring’s competitive edge. [[Category:Thesis]] [[Category:Equities]] __INDEX__
