In 1968 Mike launched the Crusader Brand with 15, 16 and 20 foot models and in 1975 Mike launched boats in his own name and developed the Ring Powercraft range. Following Mike’s own personal success in powerboat racing (and sacrifices including a broken neck) Ring boats became synonymous with Powerboat and Waterski Racing across the UK and Europe. Other new design elements included stepped hulls and Catamarans. In 1993 Ring produced their first RHIBs designed to outperform in terms of handling, rough water performance, fuel efficiency and speed. Today, Mike is as driven as ever to design new products to maintain Ring’s competitive edge.
