IdeaEdit

In the Italian village of Acciaroli, 1 in 10 residents live to be over 100. Scientists noted that as part of their diet the locals all ate rosemary, a superherb known to be great for the brain & heart.

Finding no drinks with rosemary extract, entrepreneur David Spencer-Percival developed No1 Rosemary Water™, followed by the UK’s botanical drinks range with pure, fresh botanical extracts, blended with spring water.

Our production process makes us unique in both the $2.4bn UK bottled water industry and the wider global market (est. $215bn by 2025). No1 Botanicals can be found in M&S, Waitrose, Harvey Nichols, Whole Foods and many other stores.

We’ve since added pure rosemary extract shots, and nine new still & sparkling waters to the range, with Hemp Water on its way.

Each botanical was chosen for its unique flavour and medicinal properties. An alternative to zero sugar soft drinks, the range is authenticated by the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens & a clinical trial has substantiated that Rosemary Water™ can improve memory by up to 15%.

We plan to use investment to boost exports to new EU & US regions, launch a soda mixer range, & target high-end bars, restaurants & mixologists.

At the end of 2017, global tonic water sales hit £1bn while the UK saw a 37% rise annual rise.
