==Idea== <vimeo>476494812</vimeo> TrimCheck is on a mission to introduce the world of barbering to freelance. At present, our research indicates approximately 80% of barbers either pay rent for a chair or split their earnings with a barbershop owner. For consumers; getting a haircut can be a tedious process, from discovering barbers, to getting to the barbershop, waiting in line & paying for their service. We want to make getting a haircut as simple as it would be to order takeaway or eat out at youβre favourite restaurant! We have 2 apps. 1 for barbers, and 1 for consumers. App features include advanced Scheduling, Payment Processing, Messaging, Analytics, Live Call-out Tracking & CRM software We think that the future of barbering is freelance and therefore aim to become a source of digital credibility for independent barbers. Our training academy (coming soon) will be our first big step towards getting closer to that goal. Long term, we intend for this academy to become a globally accredited & reputable institution. Trainees are currently able to offer free haircuts on our platform in exchange for experience. In the first 4 weeks, we onboarded 300+ barbers and 2500 customers; around 50% that joined through word of mouth, demonstrating demand for our product. We are now giving barbers an opportunity to own a piece of the cake! This funding round should enable market penetration in London, Manchester & Birmingham.
