Atterley is a marketplace for boutiques. We help to solve the macro-environmental challenges that independent boutiques are facing in lower footfall, rising operational costs, lack of resource & insufficient budget to compete online.

Marketplace sites accounted for 58% of online transactions worldwide in 2019. Our full-stack marketplace model provides our boutique partners with the power of the collective. We manage customer care, payments and logistics while sharing our active and growing global consumer audience of +190k.

Our mission is to connect discerning fashion customers with a unique online fashion edit where every look and label is curated by our boutique community. From device to doorstep, customers can shop a world of boutique-style securely via our global DHL delivery network, enjoying a diverse directory of up to 2,800+ new, known & niche brands.

Michael Welch OBE, Founder & Chairman

Mike is a serial entrepreneur and champion of independent retail. Founder of online tyre marketplace Blackcircles, he built the company to profitability before selling to Michelin in 2015 for +£70m. He has recently launched a similar US business Tirescanner.com. He continues to be key in developing Atterley’s strategy.

Sarah Murray, Adviser

Sarah owns the iconic Edinburgh style-destination, Jane Davidson. Regularly on judging panels for industry awards, and with her boutique featured in Vogue, her forward-thinking approach to retail has been fundamental to Atterley’s company vision.

Kenny Baillie, CEO

Kenny has intuitive knowledge of the challenges for B2B & B2C businesses and has enabled Atterley to remain agile. His roles in finance include Finance & Performance Director at Blackcircles, before moving on to MD at Ness, a lifestyle fashion brand.

James Eccleshall, COO

Brings 12+ years of experience in operations, including 10+ years at Blackcircles. James has been fundamental in providing stability and infrastructure, allowing Atterley to scale with confidence.

Lesley Comrie, Head of Marketing & Partnerships

Began her career in the marketplace team at ASOS, before progressing to Sales & Marketing Manager within an established B2B fashion brand. Lesley has been with Atterley since launch, playing an integral role in brand development.
