On 13th October 2023, Numis was acquired by Deutsche Bank for £410 million.[1]
The deal was initially announced on 28th April 2023.[2]
At the time of the initial announcement, the most recently reported revenue of Numis is for the financial year ended 30th September 2022, and the revenue and revenue growth figures is £144.2 million and negative 33.1%, respectively.[3] EBIT, profit before tax and profit after tax is £19.08 million, £20.86 million and £13.70 million, respectively.[3] Net assets is £185.2 million.[3]
Accordingly, the valuation multiples of the deal are as follows: price/sales is 2.84x, price/earnings is 29.93x and price/book is 2.21x.
