Idea
Heura was born with a clear mission: create solutions to make the current food system obsolete & accelerate towards a world where animals aren’t part of the food equation. We exist to empower people to make change, minimizing the use of resources, protecting animals, the environment & our health.

In 2020 Heura 3X its turnover to €7.6m & -€883K EBITDA & doubled its international reach. Key retail partners include Carrefour, Aldi & Planet Organic. In foodservice, partners range from Michelin-star restaurants to chains like Pans & Co.

Marc Coloma, Co-founder & CEO: Coloma led the NGO Animal Equality in Catalonia but realized that to see the change he wanted in the world he had to bring solutions
Bernat Añaños, Co-founder & Chief Social Movement: Añaños has a background in communications from the European Parliament & in the startup ecosystem in China
Agnes Lukacs, Chief R&D: Agnes recently joined & will lead the team in continuing to develop award-winning meat from plants. She brings expertise gained from her time at General Mills
