ACTIPH Water was founded by Jamie Douglas-Hamilton after his world record breaking row across the Indian Ocean led him to search for the best form of hydration. Supercharged to a pH 9.8, ACTIPH offers hydration with a refreshing taste for people who live an active, balanced lifestyle.Launched in 2017, we began in the premium and health segments of the market. With proof of concept and strong consumer demand, we moved into major retailers in 2019. Our UK listings include Tesco, Sainsbury's, Ocado, Harrods, Selfridges, Planet Organic, Wholefoodsand more. We also export to 11 countries.By April 2020, we’d sold over 1.35 million units and amassed 26,300 social media followers along the way.We bring an added-value product to what has become a very commoditised sector. Our vision is to lead the growth of alkaline waters across Europe and the Middle East, with a market-leading position in all countries built from strong foundations in the UK.The category is forecast to exceed $4.3bn by 2023, and this funding round will enable us to: increase our sales resource to drive further distribution across Europe; invest in marketing to drive penetration and educate on health benefits; increase production capability and accelerate new product development.==Team==Jamie Douglas Hamilton, FounderFounded ACTIPH after a world record-breaking row which inspired him to search the world for the best form of hydration. He completed the Saltire Fellowship in 2015 at Babson College, ranked no1 in the world for entrepreneurship by the US News & World Report.
