Drop Bear launched in 2019 with a clear mission - brew game-changing alcohol-free beer and build a better world in which to drink it. We've since brewed >160000 bottles of beer and have had numerous award wins ranging from a World Beer Award to a Great British Entrepreneur Award.

We craft each beer to be accessible to as many consumers as possible: all are vegan, gluten-free, low sugar and low calorie. We have 4 products available in 6 countries across the world with an additional market due to launch in early 2021.

Around 84% of global drinkers want to reduce or moderate their consumption of alcohol. In 2020, the Global Non-Alcoholic Drinks market was valued at roughly $18 billion. In the UK, the Low & No category sits at £450m with growth of 58% 2019-2020.

We've been trading for 18 months and despite the restrictions of COVID-19 our revenue has increased +1907% Oct '19 versus Oct '20 and sales growth experienced over the initial lockdown was +1875% Feb-Aug 20. Total revenue for the calendar year to Oct '20 was £89,330 (EBITDA -£149k).

Founders Joelle Drummond MA and Sarah McNena are a multi award-winning drinks industry duo. With international experience in business transformation, management, hospitality, and local government between them the 'Drop Bear Duo' took Drop Bear from an abstract idea to 2 marketable products in 7 months, and to a global brand with a valuation of 2.4m with 4 products in just 12 months.

From the planned brewery site, Sarah says "We've collaborated with industry experts to create the award-winning Drop Bear range. Having started his career at Sam Smith's Brewery in 1976, David has worked with >200 breweries to date. David manages quality control, NPD alongside the founders, and brewery design & development.
