  • We aim to offer a unique value proposition with targeted customer rewards

IdeaEdit

The Gameroo app offers a dynamic alternative for game buyers and sellers, allowing them to trade directly with each other, offering market-beating prices and passive earning potential.

Our app-based business aims to disrupt the current used media market by providing a focused and incentivised service to our community of customers, with a simple to use marketplace where they can trade and buy games and Blu-rays, by buying or earning credits.

Console segment revenues are predicted to reach $61.1Bn in 2022, increasing +9.7% year on year. The UK Market for physical games sales and physical movie sales total over 600M and 110M respectively. The High Street pre-owned games and movies market is dominated by rivals CEX and Game.

We believe that we're positioned to be a part of the high growth gaming and online marketplace sectors, a sales channel that has grown more in the last 3 months than the last 10 years combined. This is a shift of over $2 trillion globally from traditional retail, dealer, and reseller channels.

We started Gameroo in 2019 and launched across multiple platforms in August 2020, with over 3,500 active app downloads, 600 registered customers and hundreds of items already listed.

The new capital will enable us to build on our active and engaged community of early adopters, using their feedback to develop the product, test, and drive customer acquisition.
