IdeaEdit

The Killing Kittens app has become a global movement with over 150,000 members of all genders and sexualities who come to KK for dating, community, events, education and content from creators and sex-educators.

At KK, we level the playing field when it comes to sex and dating. We empower those who have been disenfranchised to access pleasure and nourish their sex lives both online and offline.

We’ve grown and built our own proprietary technology after 3 successful raises, and in 2021, our social network facilitated:

  • 7.7m chat messages sent
  • 84,000 connections created between members
  • 33.9% growth in signups (Jan-Dec '21)
  • 154.9% increase in premium upgrades (Jan-Dec '21)

From a B2B view, sex-tech, sexual wellness, adult dating and lingerie brands face ad restrictions on major social platforms, leaving digital ad revenue on the table for the taking. KK provides a solution for these brands to reach their audience in a hyper-targeted way.

We believe we can be the home for these premium adult brands making up an estimated $100bn industry, who have more limited options for advertising.

Our next steps are to:

  • Roll out more features and improvements to the Tech
  • Implement a paid marketing strategy with a plan to expand effectively into our first major US city
  • Prepare for a larger Series A round in 2023
