About Manos Halicioglu

Manos has 13 years of experience in investment research. His journey started at Imperial College where he studied Business Management. He served as a Research Analyst at the European Central Bank, then moved on to the investment research division of an investment media company where he was an Equity Analyst. Later, he was promoted to Head of Investment Research. Prior to leading Stockhub, he worked for a single family office as a Senior Investment Analyst.

Manos has passed levels 1 and 2 of the CFA qualification. He has been featured in various publications, including CityAM, Bloomberg, and the Investors Chronicle.

Purpose

As an Investment Analyst at our firm, your primary goals will be:

1. Enhance and refine your investment analysis skills to become proficient in the field.
2. Contribute to our mission of democratizing investment research, making it accessible for all investors.

Process

To achieve these goals, we follow a systematic approach:

Bi-weekly Sprints

Our work is organized in two-week sprints to provide a structured and focused environment for your research.

Investment Selection

At the beginning of each sprint, you'll choose an investment for research. Your choice sets the direction for your work during that period.

Collaboration and Individual Work

• If more than one analyst chooses the same investment, you'll join forces to collaboratively produce research. Our platform, Stockhub, provides the necessary tools for effective collaboration.
• If you're the only analyst who has chosen a specific investment, you have the flexibility to work independently, fully owning your research. Alternatively, you can choose to join a team working on a different investment to gain collaborative experience.

This role provides a blend of individual initiative and teamwork, empowering you to grow professionally while making substantial contributions to our goal of democratising investment research.

Using the Stockhub Platform

1. Account Creation: Start by creating an account. This initial step is essential to access Stockhub's wide array of features.
2. User Identification: Decide whether to use your real name or a pseudonym. Using your real name may provide you with more personalized and effective feedback from other users.
3. Email Registration: Consider registering your email address. While this is optional, doing so will enable you to receive email notifications about important updates, such as:
   1. When a message is sent to you on the platform.
   2. When a change is made to a page that you're monitoring.
4. Monitoring Pages: The platform allows you to watch specific pages, ensuring you keep abreast of the latest updates or changes.
5. Page History: Every page has a viewable history, allowing you to track its changes over time and better understand its evolution.
6. Editing: Users are allowed to edit pages, contributing their knowledge and insights to the collective understanding of a particular stock or topic.
