Hello,

My name is Hasithe and I am penultimate year medical student. Moreover, I have just completed an intercalated bachelor's degree in surgical design, technology and innnovation where I've discovered the true power of interdisciplinary knowledge and creative problem-solving. This academic endeavour not only deepened my appreciation for the medical field but also ignited a fascination for exploring new horizons. Surprisingly, I found myself drawn towards the world of finance—a field I had previously considered unrelated to my path. Over the past year as a marketing associate for the King's Consulting and Financial Advisory Society, I engaged in thought-provoking conversations about market trends, investment strategies, and economic shifts. Additionally, completing the Securities and Equities course with the Imperial Investment Society further enhanced my understanding of the financial landscape. My newfound passion is driven by a genuine curiosity to learn and contribute. So far in this internship I have been able to apply my understanding into analysing Shopify and Tesla stocks. I look forward to developing more technical skills in this internship and improving my ability to model and interpret data.
